Due to my late so did not know the name of his Khotib that time. While listening to sermons I saw the Khotib of big screen installed outside the main room of the mosque. Khotib was young, handsome, bearded but looks clean. From his face I saw the aura of intelligence. He said gently but firmly. From the attractive appearance they will be, I was so curious. What about the content of his sermon.
My hunch turned out well! Lecture contents and how to present it makes the congregation dissolved in compassion. Many tears were shed (including me). Even up sobbing. Wow till ya that much. Then what is the content of his talk? I think amazing once.
With an attractive style, the Khotib tells the "true story" .. a 10-year-old son Umar name. He's a successful entrepreneur wealthy. By the father Umar was educated in the most prestigious International Elementary School in Jakarta. Sure predictable, pay very expensive. But for the entrepreneur, certainly not a problem. Wong money abound. The father thought that his son should receive the best education provision at all levels. That his son would become a successful person to follow in his footsteps.
One day his wife love to know that next Saturday the father was invited to attend the event "Father's Day" at school Umar.
"Well I was busy Ma. You are coming .. "so said the father to his wife.
For him this kind of event is very important not. Compared to the amount of business affairs. But this time his wife was angry and threatening. For the umpteenth time the father had never wanted to come to the event because of her embarrassment his children.dia always accompanied by her mother. were other children are always accompanied by his father.
Well because it threatened his wife. Finally the father will be present although somewhat reluctantly. Father's Day is a special event packed where children each performance capabilities in front of his father .. Because the father of Umar did not want to then he chose to sit at the very back .. while the father of the others (especially that muda2) sitting in front of a scramble in order to encourage their children who will be performing on stage.
One by one the children showcase the talent and skill of each. There is singing, dancing, reading poetry, pantomime. There is also a showcase paintings etc. All the bells and whistles that got applause from their fathers ... it was the turn of the Umar called the teacher to display his skill.
"Miss, may I call Mr Arief," asked Umar to his teacher. Mr Arief is a tutor for extra-curricular activities at the school.
"Oh allowed .." so the teacher in charge .. and Mr Arief was called to the stage.
"Mr. Arief, can you open the Holy Qur'an Surah 78 (An-Naba ')" so Umar asked the teacher pray ... "Of course it should umar .." said Mr. Arief.
"Please note if reading my father's nothing wrong?" Umar then began reciting the Surah An-Naba 'without reading mushaf (memorizing) the chanting rhythm just like reading "Shaikh Sudais" (Imam of the Haram).
All attendees froze listening to the reading of the Umar that lilting, including the father of Umar were sitting behind.

"Subhanallah ... you memorize Surah An-Naba 'perfectly, boy ..." he shouted as he Arief Mr shed tears.
The Muslim audience did not hold back his tears. Then Mr Arief Umar asked, "Why did you choose to memorize the Qur'an and read it in this event, boy? While your friends show of skill else? "He asked Mr Arief curious.
"Tell the teacher ... my time in the Qur'an lazy to follow the lessons Mr., Mr. rebuked me while conveying the words of the Prophet Muhammad:" Anyone who reads the Qur'an, learn, and practice it, then applied the crown of the light on the Day of Judgment. Everyone gasped and can not hold back her tears to hear what the child is aged 10 th ... Amid the sudden silence tersebut..tiba terdengan cries of "Allahu Akbar .. !!" from someone who ran from the back toward the stage.
It turns out he was the father of the Umar..yg with hie immediately ran into the boy, kneeling, hugging his legs.
"Forgive me, my dear .. I'm sorry father had never notice you. Never taught you the science of religion. Moreover, teach the Qur'an ... "said the father, weeping at his feet.
"Dad wants you successful in the world, son. It turns out you even think about "the glory of the father" in the hereafter. Embarrassed father, son, "said his father while crying sobbing. Subhanallah ...
Up here, I saw on the screen Khotib wiped off her tears began to fall All jama'ahp un stunned and also began to shed tears, including me. Among jama'ahpun even that can not hide the sound of sobs ... incredible emotion.
I wonder what's on the minds of the congregation weeping. Maybe someone feel guilty for abandoning her child. May feel guilty for failing to teach religion to their children. May regret his ill teach the Qur'an or feel guilty because I was lazy to read the Quran just lying on the shelves his book..dan all, arguing busy world affairs!
I myself cried because I felt remiss in matters akhirat..dan more preoccupied with the affairs of the world. Though I know that the Hereafter is far better and everlasting life of the world is trivial, joking and very short ini..seperti word of Allah in Sura Al-An'Amayat 32: "There is not the life of this world, apart from the playfulness and sheer amusement. And the hereafter is better for those who fear Allah. Then do not you understand? ".
Astagfirullahal ghofururrohim..hamba beg forgiveness for Allah..Yang is Forgiving and Merciful.
